Supervision that fits your stage

Supervision across career stages

What you need from supervision shifts as your career does. A provisional or registrar psychologist is often balancing competency requirements, logged hours, and the first genuinely complex cases of their career. A registered or clinical psychologist is more often looking for somewhere to think carefully about the clients and systemic factors, and to keep their own practice sustainable.
Sessions are shaped around wherever you sit on that spectrum: case discussion across therapy and assessment work, professional and ethical dilemmas, report writing and formulation, and the practical questions of caseload and capacity. Supervision is available to:
  • Clinical registrars: primary or secondary supervision for clinical endorsement and the registrar program
  • Registered psychologists
  • Clinical psychologists
